Welcome long weekend..

Woouw...we will have a long weekend this week. Start from Thursday, April 9Th 2009, is national election day, then Friday is a good Friday. I and my bloved hubby planning to visit my parents.
Thursday night, we took a bus from Kampung Rambutan. When we arrived at Kampung Rambutan, around 19.00 Wib, there is no bus with our destination. The bus station crowded with people.
A bus crew told us that the bus limited because lot of drivers who took vacation and using their citizen right in this election day..hmmm..such a good citizens!!

We took a sit beside "tukang jualan indomie n coffee", just named him Parto. While I just see around, my hubby having conversations with other traveler just named him Mr. Asep. It's been 15 minutes we wait, Mr. Asep request coffee to Parto, then my hubby followed him.
Not far from us, there were a family, seem waiting the same bus with us, with 2 kids, a 6Th year boy and 4th year girl. The little girl was so attractive, cheerful, she was run over here, run over there, feel no tired, make me smile when saw her singing and dancing by her self.

It's almost 21.00..and I'm start to starving smelling a delicious food fade away, I turn my head and saw Mr. Asep enjoying his "indomie telur rebus" made by Parto. Although I have bread with me, but this 'indomie telur rebus' was so aroused, so I asked one to Parto. Hmmm..it's taste so yummy..
Huhuhuk..it's 22.00, and the bus still hasn't come. I felt boring, but for wonder, the little girl was having no weary, still with her enthusiastic, run over here and over there...

22.30..I saw Mr Asep enjoying his 2Nd "indomie telur rebus"..seem hungrily. Suddenly, a lot of traveler stand up, and prepare their baggage, ooh, seem the bus is coming.
Thanks God, after waiting for more than 3 hours, here comes a bus with our destination, it's only take minutes to made the bus fulled.

Mr Asep have a seat behind driver, and the family with 2kids was in our back. While all passenger have a seat, Parto come up to the bus and approach Mr. Asep, asking for the 2Nd "indomie telur rebus" that unpaid yet, Mr. Asep laughing and say sorry for that, and we're chuckling of it. Pfffh..finally, thanks God, I feel the bus seat were so comfortable..and I fall asleep then.

I was awaken, and looking at my watch, it was 02.30, and surprised cause the bus was stop. I look outside the window, ooh..seem it's in rest point, at Central Peuyem 3 restaurant, then I have sleep out.

People voice woke me up, it's almost 04.30..and..oh..what on earth is it! The bus still stopped. Usually it's only take 30 to 45 minutes in rest point! Oh my..apparently, the bus machine was broken, and the only thing can be done by the bus crew is waiting for the mechanic that somehow maybe still asleep somewhere...I got down from the bus and having some fresh morning air!..
"Finally, we can wake up before the cocks crowing D'ku!" said my hubby exultantly. :-)

Really thanks to mbak Dyah yang udah ngenalin aku ke bisniss MLM ini. Buang jauh pikiran negatif tadi, ambil positif thinking-nya..liat ada peluang bisniss di dalamnya. Slowly but sure!

MLM Business

Usually everyone will say "No" when offered to join a MLM business, and I was one of them, till about 2 month ago, a friend of me, Dyah, offer me to join Savero Fashion. It's a MLM fashion that provide fashionable apparel for woman, man and kids also. Savero Fashion sponsored some sinetron (local TV serial), so it's products used by local artist who star in that serial. I thought that 'what's wrong with MLM? why don't you try to join it?" 'cause there's always an opportunity to be succeed. On the first month I joined Savero Fashion, I sold 3 pieces of woman apparel, and recruiting 4 friends of mine as my downline..ehmm..the joining fee payable by bonus I got..:-).

Crochet, my another handycraft

Crochet is really an art, especially handmade crochet. It's really a positive thing to be done for killing the time.
Not every woman can do crochet. I learned to crochet from my schoolmate, it was 10 years ago. The first crochet I did is "bando' and "iket rambut". (Thanks to Ester who taught me how to crochet). lately, as my bloved mother in law love to crochet, hence I'd like to crochet. I made hand phone casing. Now I'm working for a scarf. Hmmmm...according to experience, this scarf making will take so long time..ppffhh..

Here comes another long weekend..

TGIF..TGIF.. Thanks God it's Friday.. and we are employees in Indonesia more thankful than whoever 'cause we prepare for the next 3 days off, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.. Yup, as our government regulation, if national days fall down in weekend, so the nearest weekdays will be the celebration day, it made us have more often days off. But, actually, I was not know well what kind of national day that we celebrate at this weekend,..hmmm..it's only because my calender is an 'unique hang in the wall handmade by me' calendar(oh hi you!!..where is your nationalism??!!)
Wait!! I'll go to my colleague room and see if I can get it.
"......... interlude......... "
Puffs..here I'm back! Apparently, on Monday, March 9th 2009, our Moslem citizen celebrate "Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW"'s day.
Hmm..I and my bloved husband don't have special plan to spend this long weekend. Just stayed in the city, on Saturday, I'll meet my ex coworker who now live in Lampung and just arrive in Jakarta by Friday, Sunday we'll spend the time at my mother in law's home, and on Monday I'll meet my schoolmate. And on Tuesday?? ooooh.. I'll get to work!!

Best Friend : a friend in need is a friend in deed

How lucky we are to have a real best friend, a friend that will be at our side whether in good or worse. A friend that will always support us.
We make friends everywhere and every single day of our life.
Since the first time we take a breath in this earth, our bloved parents was our first friends, followed by grandpa, grandma and another bloved family members.
Then, we met friends at our play group, then in phase, we met new ones at our elementary school, secondary school, high school, college, office..or maybe at social organization, at our new boarding house, our new environment, or maybe at our way home in the bus. You know what, I have a friend that married a man who used to be "a stranger who sat beside you in a mass transportation", and they live happily now with a baby.
And automatically, we will make friend with friends of a friend, friends of our bloved wife, friends of our cousin..and so on.
Actually, from those so many friends we have, there is only a few that we can say a "true friend", a friend in need and in deed. A friend that will open his/her 24hrs a day to listen to our problem, a friend that giving positive spirit to us, a friend that always support us for good, a friend that make us better.
And my bloved hubby is my true friend, beside this pretty girl named Tiddy.
She used to be " the next door girl" at my last boarding house.
Also I know a tough mom with 2 kids named

Valentine's day

Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
The U.S. Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately one billion valentines are sent each year worldwide, making the day the second largest card-sending holiday of the year, behind Christmas (wikipedia)

Ehmm..we dont think valentine's day is a special day to be celebrate, for us, love must be expressed everyday, not only on valentine's day. Since February 14th is my mom in law's birthday, we more foccus on it. We having dinner together to celebrate it. " Happy birthday Ma..God bless you.."

B R E A K F A S T day 1

" Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy Name...."

Breakfast is the first meal of the day. The word came about because it means breaking the fast after one has not eaten (fasted) since the night before.(source:Wikipedia)

It's actually as an energy source for our body to do working along the day, so it's fundamentally. Although fundamentally, it's not good if we have a heavy food for breakfast, it should be a healthy food.

Today, our breakfast menu was 'roasted cheese loaf' and orange juice. My bloved hubby ever take it to his office, and when he ate it, his colleague ask what's that meal name? And my bloved hubby didnt know what it is..so we named it soon as "roasted cheese loaf"..hehehe..

ROASTED CHEESE LOAF
Inggredients :
4 pieces loaf sheet
1 yolk
100ml milk
25 gr gratin cheese

First, in a roasted bowl, mix yolk with milk. Then soak loaf into it. Let it for 5 minutes. Spread gratin over it. Then baked in oven toasted for 25 minutes.
Hmmm...what an easy yummy healthy breakfast.

My bloved family was going to have family holidays at Carita on the first weekend of 2009. We've been planning this since last July.

After having buryam as breakfast, we, my bloved hubby, me and my bloved brother, driver my bloved mom to Lebak bulus bus terminal, cause she will going home to Cilacap. It's 08.20 when we arrived at Lebak bulus, and voilaa..the bus that will take my mom home departed just now..
After a little discussion, my mom agree take the bus from Kampung Rambutan bus terminal, so my brother take her there.
Then, I and my bloved hubby going to Om Yanis's home, which place that we'll depart to Carita.
When we got there, 09.00..hmmm..seem we're the first who finished preparing.
After waiting all family gathered, 12.00..(ppfffhh..we spent about 3hours only for waiting), finally we got in to bus which took us to Carita.
The journey is about 3hours, 70% of it is a high way road.
We out from high way road at cilegon, and starting with lokal road that were very unproper with so many hole along it, give us pain in our ass and our back when passed it, also made us think..how far again??
But the unwanted journey was paid with when we step our foot in Mutiara Carita cottage. Such an interesting place ..

Yearning for Mendoan..a tasty Javanese food

Last Wednesday, when we got home from office, we drop in to a traditional market, Palmerah market to buy some veggie. Suddenly, I saw a fermented soybean cake seller beside the veggie seller, and when I came to her..wooouw..surprise, she sold a thin fermented soybean cake names tempe mendoan in Java, actually it's rare to be sold.
Mendoan, the taste of it always make us yearn for home, it is originally Banyumas ( a place in Java) food..
Almost every home in Banyumas area served it as their daily food, and we can find it easily in any restaurant there.
Although my bloved hubby comes from Toraya, but he loves mendoan so much. The first that he ate was my bloved mom's home made mendoan. For those who never taste it, you really really should try it, eaten lukewarmly with sliced cilli poured with kecap (soybean liquid)...hmmmmm...really yummy.
And it's very easy to made it.

You just have to provide :
5 a thin fermented soybean cake ( tempe mendoan )
100 gr wheat flour
100 ml water
200 ml oil (to fry )
50 gr diced daun bawang
To be smoothed :
1 sp ketumbar
1 sp salt
2 garlic
The sauce :
diced chilli
soybean liquid (ketjup)

Mix wheat flour in a bowl with water, put the smoothed spices, stirr it well. add put diced daun bawang, stirr it again. Put 1 thin fermented soybean cake.
Heat the oil in a jar, after the oil is hot, put thin fermented soybean cake that already cover with mixed wheat flour. Fry it half done.
Then serve it with the sauce. Really yummy...ymm.ymm.ymmm
My bloved hubby could ate it all by a second.
